Jodi for State Senate Announces First Round of Endorsements for Senate District 8

Longtime area resident also announces campaign manager


Dec. 12, 2022 - Whitefish Bay, WI - The campaign of Jodi for State Senate today announced the following endorsements of those supporting Jodi Habush Sinykin to be the next State Senator for District 8. They are:


  • WI Attorney General Josh Kaul

  • United States Senator Tammy Baldwin

  • Senate Minority Leader Melissa Agard (SD-16)

  • Senate Assistant Minority Leader Jeff Smith (SD-31)

  • Senate Caucus Chair Chris Larson (SD-7)

  • Senator LaTonya Johnson (SD-6)

  • Senator Brad Pfaff (SD-32)

  • Senator Kelda Roys (SD-26)

  • Senator Lena Taylor (SD-4)

  • Senator Bob Wirch (SD-22)

  • Senator-Elect Mark Spreitzer (SD-15, AD-45)

  • Representative Deb Andraca (AD-23)


“I’m beyond grateful to have earned the endorsement of Attorney General Josh Kaul, Senator Tammy Baldwin, Representative Deb Andraca and the vast majority of the 2023/24 Wisconsin State Senate Democratic caucus,” said Jodi Habush Sinykin. “They realize, as I do, how vitally important it is to elect a State Senator on April 4th, 2023, who prioritizes their constituents first, and works everyday to better the lives of friends, family, and neighbors in the greater Milwaukee region. I’m thankful to have their support as we work to flip this seat.”


Habush Sinykin’s campaign also announced that Alex Pond, a Milwaukee area resident and veteran of the last three general election cycles (‘18, ‘20, ‘22), will serve as campaign manager for the effort. Pond comes to the campaign having previously worked with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee.
